The formula
F = mv² ÷ r
Where this usually goes wrong
It points at the centre of the circle, not outwards. There is no outward force — that feeling is the body resisting the turn.
Worked example
A 1000 kg car at 15 m/s round a 50 m bend needs 4500 N.
