Fill in what you know and leave the unknown box empty — it works out whichever one is missing. Nothing is uploaded; the arithmetic happens in your browser.
The formula
A = P(1 + r)ᵗ
Where this usually goes wrong
Compounded once a year. Rate as a decimal: 5% is 0.05. A is the total, so the interest earned is A − P.
Worked example
$1,000 at 5% for 10 years becomes $1,628.89.
